Lecture 14 summary

We discussed Peterson’s algorithm for decoding Reed-Solomon codes up to half the distance, and decoding algorithms for concatenated codes: both a naive algorithm and GMD decoding.

An extension till Monday, Mar 22 (firm deadline) for problem set 2 is allowed.
